The Future of Cancer Therapeutics Forum 2018 Abstract Submission

Abstract submission opens: April 1, 9 A.M. PST

Abstract submission closes: April 22, 9 P.M. PST

We would like to give four selected undergrads, graduate students, and/or post-docs the opportunity to present their relevant research at this forum and compete for a chance to win $300 and a guaranteed opportunity to present at next years forum.

Abstracts should follow the guidelines below. Abstracts should include all the key points that will be addressed in the proposed presentation. Abstracts should be clear and concise and be no more than 500 words. A review committee will rate all abstracts based on content, clarity, and format and will choose four abstracts. These individuals will be given the opportunity to present for up to, but no longer than, 25 minutes and will then field questions from the audience.

Abstract Guidelines:

1. REPORT ORIGINAL RESEARCH: While it is preferred that abstracts are original and unpublished at the time of submission, published works less than 30 days since publication may be presented. However, unpublished works will be given priority.

2. INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: Research objective, rationale, summarized methods, results, and conclusion. It is not satisfactory to say, "The results will be discussed". Emphasize the significance of this study and its broader implications.

3. INCLUDE SUPPORTING DATA: Including supporting data and controls to ensure scientific rigor and report variables.

4. SUBMISSION: Submit your abstract, which should be no longer than 500 words. Also include, in the same word document, a 200-word presenter biography and headshot, to include in the conference handbook.
